This Painting is using current images borrowed from popular magazines which are placed onto linen and then colored with pencil, oil paint, acrylic paint or any other type of marking device I can find. The images from this series could be fantasies, reality, a reaction to a political ideology, or simply a statement of the relationship of myself to others in my world. Exploring them could help discover the inner makings of myself or just confuse the ideas that you may have already formed. |
